Stefan Molyneux – The Handbook Of Human Ownership – A Manual For Tax Farmers

Here’s another Stefan Molyneux video for you. I really like this one and listened to it three times in two days when I first found it. Because it’s quite long, I think Stefan spent his time on the audio content and grabbed some public domain video for the background, which doesn’t always match the topic being discussed. Therefore, I treat this as a podcast – for audio purposes only.

It is narrated in the style of a teacher explaining to a new ruler of a country who is in training, how they should proceed in order to keep the masses enslaved and themselves enriched via the production of the masses. He makes some particularly pertinent points regarding the origins and aims of feminism and the indoctrination of children within the state school system.

I imagine that for some people, this video may come across as incredibly boring or depressing. It’s one of those things that is difficult for me to judge. But for myself, it’s perfect for the stage I am at in my self education and personal development. Recently, I have made big strides in avoiding mainstream media (online newspapers) and television news and other TV programming. It’s this kind of stuff that I am replacing it with, often listening to it in the background as I complete other tasks.

I hope that some of my blog readers may gain something from this kind of material. If you do enjoy it or get anything from it, please leave me a comment below, letting me know.

Stefan Molyneux – The Story Of Our Unenslavement

I embedded one of Stefan Molyneux’s videos earlier on this blog, called ‘The Story Of Your Enslavement.’

I like Stefan’s videos and include them here because they always make me think and they do so in a way which helps me to understand why my financial and business independence is important, along with many other things. To expand on this, I feel that it is risky to rely on anyone else, because others have their own agenda. Every time I put this theory to the test, the results come back the same – independence and freedom are a crucial part of the ExRat way.

I thought it was fitting to add the follow-up video to that one here. In this video Stefan expresses his viewpoint that statism is just another religion – it has similarities in the churches, symbols, deities, rewards and punishments plus it relies on the control and abuse of children.

He feels that the solution lies in raising our children without the language of the state – instead of aggression, raised voices and hands, bullying, control, punishment and manipulation we should instead choose gentleness but firmness coupled with love.

He suggests that violence is a language that we must unlearn, because then the state will reveal itself as just a silly superstition.

I believe that it’s an important part of anyone’s personal development to find the kind of material that makes us stop, think and ask more questions of ourselves and of the world around us.

Zeitgeist Addendum

This film comprises of four sections (within the one film). The first two sections present two problems and the second two present solutions. It is directed by Peter Joseph and is a quality production.

Part one gives a helpful and enlightening insight into the monetary system and fractional reserve banking, with helpful animations that assist in making a complex subject easier to understand – in other words, even dummies like me can learn something from it 😉

Part two features John Perkins, the author of ‘Confessions Of An Economic Hitman.’ I’ve just bought this book and will be reviewing it on this blog shortly, although I’ve already read many extracts from it already. It’s disturbing, but informative.

Part three presents The Venus Project and discusses their alternative to the capitalist system which we currently employ.

Part four discusses the idea that wide scale ignorance is responsible for most of our social problems and how this ignorance is maintained, by whom and why.

For a more comprehensive explanation of the content of the film here’s a link to the Zeitgeist Addendum wikipedia page.

This film is just over two hours long, but I’ve watched it twice myself and it’s better than almost anything I’ve ever seen on TV – back in the days when I used to indulge in such activities. If you read much of this blog, you will probably notice that giving up watching broadcasted mainstream TV was one of my lifestyle experiments that I decided to stick with for the long term.

I strongly recommend at least giving this experiment a trial for a while, because learning the habit of exercising as much choice as possible is a liberating experience and over time it’s difficult not to come to the conclusion that mainstream TV is dumbed-down, insidious, manipulative and dangerous and that social engineers are having a field day with it, pumping out it’s tawdry subliminal subversion on a daily basis in the majority of homes.

Stefan Molyneux – The Story Of Your Enslavement

In this video Stefan explains how ‘human farming’ developed when human beings started becoming afraid of death. He explains how there have been four major phases of human farming –

  1. (Ancient Egypt) – direct and brutal human compulsion
  2. The Roman model
  3. Feudalism
  4. Democracy

He goes on to explain how the kind of ‘free-range’ human farming system of today is doomed to fail and is in the process of doing so.

This is an excellent video and complements Stefan’s ‘Statism Is Dead – The Matrix‘ video.

Stefan Molyneux – Statism Is Dead (part 3) – The Matrix

In this video Stefan explains historical examples of states and empires and elaborates on the different classes –  the ruling class, the slave/working class, the brutalising class and the propagandising class.

He talks about how excess productivity and the enclosure movement caused changes to our societies and what those changes were, plus their effects, including the industrial revolution.

One of the conclusions reached is this –

The opposite of superstition and ideology – of statism – is philosophy.

I highly recommend this video (along with Stefan’s ‘The Story Of Your Enslavement‘ video) for anyone who is relatively new to this way of looking at the world and who wants to expand their perspective, develop clearer thinking and learn more about philosophy.
